Lac de Petarel - fragment II

While using digital technology as raw material, I operate a sensitive pictorial approach that relies on both collected data and the memory of the traversed landscape. I use photogrammetry to render the different layers of relief and time, overlaying them. It is by sculpting the scanned space in this way that I can reach, through revelation and memories, a dimension specific to landscapes, here a mountain landscape. In this way, photography, no longer required to faithfully copy reality, gives room for imagination. It fosters an alchemy between the object it has captured, in this case landscapes, and the viewer.
