Following her 3D makeup series, she imagined how humans could look in a fantastic virtual future trying to protect themselves from an invisible threat. Always hugely inspired by sea creatures, people can transform into a half human half octopus, the tentacles filtering the digital atmosphere thus making it more breathable. Ines developed the animation of the tentacles in a way that, to make it look good and accurate, it encourages the user to slow down their movements to feel like you’re under the water, connecting the physical and the virtual which has always been key in Ines's work.
